Today was a wonderful day. Danielle & Tyler came over & we went out to lunch at Atlanta Bread Co., then Janet caught up with us, & we spent the rest of the p.m. here at home. Little Tyler sure is an entertaining child! Danielle says he doesn’t take naps any more, so, I don’t know how she keeps up with him. When they first got here, he had to go potty, but, since I was drying my hair, he wouldn’t go….later on, he was mooning us. He was first out the door as they were headed home, & we looked out & he was peeing a very large arc in the front yard!…Go figure…(^o^) While they were here, he put some ice cubes in the dogs water dish, then proceeded to take them back out & eat them. He talks a lot, but, I haven’t figured out what language he speaks yet. 
At any rate, I laughed more than I have in a long time!
I need more days like this!

Not much to tell at this point. I spend some time on Facebook to try to keep up with family. Right now, I don’t know where my #3 son is, as he flew down to FL to pick up Alyssa to drive her home. I saw some nasty storms in the general area he might have been traveling in….they might be home by now for all I know. Sure hope so.
A week ago Mon. I had a sleep test. Of course that turned out to be one of my totally sleepless nights. Actually fell asleep somewhere after 5:30 a.m., & they woke me up at 6:30 a.m. to send me home. Don’t know if they will want to do it over again or not. Won’t know til the middle of the month.
Tomorrow I get to run Suzie all over town. I have some errands to throw in there too, or I wouldn’t be doing it.
Still have to make time to figure out how to post pics on here.

I guess it’s about time to throw something in here! I wanted this site so badly, and what did do, but ignore it. Sorry J.R. (Jimmeeee. There, I got that in!)
I sure hope winter is thinking about winding down, as we had more than enough snow. Thank goodness I had Nick here to do the snowblowing for me. I just didn’t feel up to trying to work that machine. (I’ve never done it before with that particular one). Then, with my mild heart attack in Jan., I really didn’t feel up to it…..Enough of this, on to something else!
The weather warms up & spoils us, then it gets cold again. Today was the nicest day yet. I went outside to do my fav early spring job of picking up dog poop. Didn’t even get a quarter of the way through the yard before I pooped out! Decided I was hungry so went out for some corned beef & cabbage. Not bad. My own would have been better, but, you take what you can get when you are too lazy to do it yourself!
Last week Janet took me out for my most favorite ‘soup’ in the world…..seafood bisque at Mary’s Market! This time I had a sandwich to go with it (I don’t know why…I’m such a glutton)…..and of course a very rich dessert…..couldn’t hardly move the rest of the day. We took little Keaton with us, & he provided the entertainment. He is sooo cute!
I’m going to have a sleep test next Mon., just another thing to look at to see why I’m so tired. I suppose if they don’t find anything there, they will just say ‘it’s old age’! I am so sick of hearing that!!!!! At least through all of this past junk, my cholesterol is GREAT! It’s been a long time since it has been anywhere near good.
My mind is in the mood to do spring cleaning, but, my body isn’t, so it’s a Mexican stand off? I bought my yearly lottery ticket tonight. Maybe if I could win that, I could hire a whole company of cleaners to do it all in a couple days…ya think? Of course I would have to clean first before I would let them in the house!!! LOL Oh yeh, then I would hire landscapers too! Oh the fun of it all! (^,^)

Wow, first of all, I finally figured out my ‘user name’ again. I’m always forgetting it! So, naturally, I couldn’t post anything.
I was scheduled several weeks ago to go to the zoo with the grand-kids & great grand-kids, but, ended up having one of my totally sleepless nights & got a headache in the early a.m., so felt I should cancel out. That really hurt. I was sooo looking forward to it.
On Memorial week, I went to OH for my 55th high-school reunion. That was the best thing I could have done for myself. Did so much laughing the whole time I was there…..but then, one has to come home some time, right? Didn’t get to see everyone I wanted to, of course. I’m eventually going to figure out how to post pictures here. Can’t believe I only took one roll of film the whole time I was gone!
Spent several days out & about taking pics of the floods around the area. That sure was something else! Carp trying to swim up river, coming out onto the streets. Poor things. Not all places are back to normal yet, & won’t be for quite some time, like Traxler Park in Jvl, is still totally under water.
Fri. (July 4th), I went over to my grandaughters house (Dana & Dave) for a picnic & fireworks. Ended up staying a lot longer than I had planned on. The food was great, & the fireworks like nothing I had seen before. Never was that close to home fireworks. At my age that’s saying something!

Well, I got my new monitor today. I hooked it up myself, so, that explains why I can’t see & use all the picture on the screen. The left side & bottom is what I can’t see. It’s off the screen…..FRUSTRATING!!!!!! I’m sure it’s something really simple, but, this simpleton can’t figure it out….Drats!!!!! This all comes from impatience. I was going to call Jay this p.m., but got 2 lengthy phone calls & went past his bedtime, so, couldn’t do it. Not only that, I can’t see anywhere to hook up the speakers……soooo, don’t send me anything with sound.
Guess I’m done ranting & raving now. Think I will go to bed & have some nightmares.

I almost forgot to talk about my day on Sunday! It was ‘grandtastic’! I say grand, because, I was with some of my grand-kids & great grand-kids at the Discovery Center in Rockford. I had never been to this place before, but, I would certainly go back again with more of my grands & greats! Even the adults felt like kids again…..especially Larry. Trust me, it’s this sort of thing that keeps you young.
It made me feel good that they would even think of taking me with them. Joe , Jenn & Autumn picked me up & brought me home…..first we stopped for breakfast at the Robins Nest. It was a great day & I took lots of pics, naturally.

Insurance forms that have to be filled out after a death are quite simple. Even I can do it! BUT……. DO NOT print your name when it says to sign…..you must do cursive! That is what I did (print) & it is costing me much more time to get my money! Going to be a tough month ahead. Social Security screwed me up too…..again. Will try to get that fixed up on Wed. morning. Gonna take my stepson, Tom, with me for extra ‘ears’, AND to verify what I think I hear! This whole situation makes me want to tie into somebody! GRRRR.

At this point, I don’t even know if I am doing this right! Will have to ‘confab’ with my boy, J,R. who set this up for me. Once I get rolling, you may get tired of me, TOUGH, it’s MY site now!
